Question by romantic_trap: What happened to the World Poker tour on the Travel channel?
I’ve noticed they have changed the show to the Professional poker tour. I was curious if the Travel channel had a falling out with the producers.

wpt’s still on, the ppt is only on wednesday now i have noticed though that vince van patten and the other guy isn’t hosting it anymore though

the WPT with Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patton will be back for another season later in ther year. In the mean time they launched a new series the PPT “Professional Poker Tour” instead of constantly repeating the same wpt shows. also if you notice mike sexton and vince van Patton are playing in the PPT games. and it is nice to watch a tourney from the start to finish, and not just see the edited final table results. on this show we see more pros . personally I love it.
