Question by : What is the best company to use for deep sea fishing?
My best friends wedding in the pan handle of florida in May. We “of course” are going to panama city for the bachelor party. to start the day off we are planning to go deep sea fishing. I have looked at a bunch of different companies websites and they all say about the same thing. I need some help knowing which one is actually a good choice. The group is about 8 of us all be in their mid-twenties. The vessel much allow alcohol!

Bad idea to get on a Party Boat with a bunch of buddy’s and get hammered drunk. Have you ever been sea-sick AND drunk? You won’t have much of a bachelor party AFTER that trip!
By all means, go fishing! But, out of the 8 of you, the odds are good that one of you will get sea-sick. If you add in alcohol, you’ve got a problem.
That is the reason most Party Boats don’t allow booze on their boats- a drunk, sea-sick, person ain’t pretty! And it’s dangerous………
Not to mention, most Party Boats leave at 7AM and return by 3:00-4:00 PM. You guys are gonna start partying that early? Ya’ll won’t make it to 10PM- which is just plain pitiful!
I suggest you skip the idea of a “cocktail cruise” and just go fishing. Save the drinking for dry land……..
Go with the charter that has the largest boat. The bigger the boat, the less the boat “rocks”- making for a comfortable ride and anchor while fishing.

The best way to find what will fit your needs is to do some recon work. You can do it on the phone , but it’s better if you can go down ahead of time. Check the boats out first, then hit a few local waterfront bars.Ask the locals.
