Question by all my life for bassfishing: How to find a job in sport fishing industry?
I am a serious bassfisherman from Japan. Besides working a full-time job in New Jersey, I fish bassfishing tournaments. My full-time job is nothing to do with bassfishing. To contribute all my life for bassfishing, I would like to move to south and work in fishing tackle industry, but don’t know how to find a job in fishing tackle industry. Could someone please help me find a job in the industry? I want to stay in the industry and the sport as much as possible.

Thank you!

  1. As in work for lure companies or tackle shop owner?

Being a tackle rep is a good job! What kind of work though!

  2. Baggleys Baits is located in Winterhaven Florida..
You can also get a magjzine for fishing and look in the back of it.

    Good luck Guy.

  3. If you are very good and very serious about the industry you should contact Gary Yamamoto in person and let him know your interests and see if he has anything you can do for his company.
Here is his website, use the contact button and e-mail him. Maybe you can get his phone number and call him. Good luck!
